Those who turned up to the Hackney on Friday 29th May saw Kermis, with help from others, attempt to fill the venue with as many ballons and people as pysically possible. The crowd was very receptive to another sweat induced high energy set. Thanks heaps to Goldie and the News, great music, great party!

Crown and Sceptre
Thanks so much to all that turned up to the crown and sceptre gig Ü. It meant a lot to the band and made the night come alive. The first set went smoothly and finished with Luke's new song which caught on extraordinarily well with the crowd. The second set probably should have come sooner than it did, but when it did, the crowd picked themselves up again. The cover of Kylie Minogue's 'Confide in Me' and 'Sexy and Slow' went off like a natural disaster! Kermis' new ep 'Importance of Being' was a great success and we found ourselves signing autographs, something we are quite unfamiliar with.

Christmas Special @ The Austral
Last night at the Austral (21st December) Kermis played a solid 45 minutes of funk rock to a very receptive crowd. The band appreciated playing in the company of Chinese Whisper and High Stakes who also brought good crowds. It was great having these bands check us out and pass on their gigging knowledge. It is likely that Kermis will play again at the Austral sometime during February.
